A tab against me is wrong — how do I dispute it?
Open the tab in the app and tap Dispute. The person who filed it is notified and can accept the dispute to close it out. If you can't resolve it, email hello@thetab.io with the details and we'll review it.
How do I get a tab about me reviewed or removed?
Use the in-app dispute flow, or email hello@thetab.io with your name and the details. We review removal requests promptly and may remove or restrict content.
How do I pay or settle a tab?
Open the tab and use the linked payment app (Cash App or Venmo). Once it's settled it closes on the ledger and turns green — on the record, paid.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and personal data. (Tabs that involve other people remain on the ledger.)
Is tab. a debt collector?
No. tab. is a social accountability tool — not a debt collector, lender, or credit bureau. Tabs are user-reported and informational only.
How do I report abuse or block someone?
You can block users and report abuse directly in the app, or email hello@thetab.io. We act on reports.
